RANDY AND SEX HUNGRY TEACHERS ON THE LOSE!

-->

Look at this picture very well. What do you think is going on here?

At first I was shocked, irritated and moved to tears. Puzzles upon puzzles couldn't stop popping up in my head like pop-corn.

Well, this is not a scene from a Nollywood flick, nor a stage play, rather it's a teacher 'screwing' a female pupil right inside the classroom.

Child molestation is no longer an issue that should be whispered in hush-hush tones, we must continue to cry out loud on it. Both male and female children are becoming daily victims. In fact, so many stories yet untold about this crime against minors.

What could a man find enticing and attractive in the body of an 8, 9, or even 12-year- old- girl or boy? For the former, the mould on her chest is not visible enough to trigger and excite your John Thomas. Her VG is still so tender and tight, her back side still under formed to be able to sway left and right. So tell me, what in heaven’s name would arouse the devilish side of men when such a girl crosses their path?
Parents beware!

SEXUAL FESTIVAL FOR YOUTH CORPERS!

-->
The November batch of Youth Service Corp members have all gone or will be going to their respective orientation camps across the country to prepare for their year-long compulsory service to their fatherland. Each time, this fact intrudes on my consciousness, I am transported in a flashback to my service days three years ago.

My service was indeed a very enjoyable once- in-a-lifetime experience. After the 21-day orientation at the NYSC camp in Shagamu, I was posted to Ijebu North Local Government in Ogun state, the Gateway State. My primary assignment was to teach in one of the numerous secondary schools in Ijebu Igbo.

Despite the regimented lifestyle on the camp, we had real fun. I am not talking about Ijebu Garri or plantain. What I mean is good fun - warts and all. If what happened in my camp is universal, then one of the queer thing about corpers - the sudden insatiable urge for sex. It seemed as the camp was suddenly infested by the sex virus.

Suddenly all the girls were on heat and the boys as horny as satyrs. They took the service year as one last chance to indulge in sexual experiment or to break the shackles of inhibition instill in them as part of their upbringing. There are stories of he-goat adventure, so were shameless exploits by daughters of eve.

The male behaved as if they had suddenly found themselves in harem after being celibate for years, and the ladies, as if they had suddenly found sexual liberation. I remember overhearing a girl telling her friends “Look at that guy, How I wish I have him to myself…” and I blushed with shame. The feeling of sexual energy was ubiquitous so much so the camp seemed like one big vineyard of sex where a harem of Domitilas are waiting to be serviced by the erotic rods of virile male corp members.

During those randy days, some babes were passed around even amongst friends. The chop-make-I-chop recycling among the randy males lasted till the last day of the orientation. Sometimes, we’d catch some shameless lovers making out on the field. It was so rampart I started wondering why my fellow female corp members were falling so cheap to the demands of some sex opportunists, many of whom left their manners back at home when they were embarking on the journey to serve their nation.

Quarrels, jealousy, exchange of dirty words – I thought sexual escapades were meant to be left in the dark, barely whispered – well not on NYSC camps. Those of us who were too naïve or too timid to join in the frenzy were reduced to spectators and were satisfied with being entertained by our corpers who fight dirty over one randy male or the other.

Funny as it may sound, same guy who is the bone of contention would be at the embarrassing scene to watch the female corp members succumb to public disgrace and fist combat. Men will always be men! For them, sex is a game. On one occasion, me and some of my mates from the same institution tried to talk to one of our shameless colleague whom we felt was disgracing our institution with her scarlet activities. She told us off that she owned her body and could surrender it for serious banging whenever she felt like it. End of story.

The randy fever did not end in the camp. Some carried it over to their place of primary assignment. I mean the schools where they were posted where they found easy gullible victims. While the female became more astute and resorted to underground runs, the males were the ones frequently making the news.

There was this case of a super stud corper who got three secondary school students pregnant. He was serving in a neighbouring school. How he managed to deceive the underage girls into opening their little holes for him to penetrate with his mighty anaconda I could not fathom. When I first heard about his misdemeanor, I kept asking myself, what were those little girls looking for in the room of a corper, dem no dey fear size?

But is there any novice nowadays when it comes to sexual matters. Whereas some corpers are still Otondo, many secondary school girls are already confirmed Sharon Stone when it comes to eating the forbidden fruit. Big thanks to television, pornographic films and magazines which are now for sale at every corner of the country. So it makes the works of an Oliver Twist corper easier.

If he is tall, handsome, cool and friendly, then all he had to do is try to be a little friendly, play the big brother to the more adventurous of the girls who need little or no persuasion for him to use the “farming tool” dangling between his legs. Well, “Let’s leave matter for Matthias”. I am not beefing male corpers. I am talking generally about corpers’ sexual hanky-panky.

I will support my case with a recent happening. My neighbor’s sister, Ngozi, was a victim of a corper’s hanky-panky. The 16 year old was about to write her WAEC O Level exams and this corper, newly posted to their school at Iyana Ipaja, was teaching them Biology. He was also organizing extra mural where he was taking them on all science subjects. He was described as nice. And a young, naïve and nubile Ngozi yearned to get as close to him as her best friend, Ifeoma, who was already getting premium attention from the Ramsey Nouah-look alike corper.

Ngozi used to go to the corpers’ lodge to assist him wash his clothes and fetch water for him. She craved his attention in return. She did that the first day, it worked. The second time, she went to the extent of preparing his meals. In time, Corper Clement started “liking” her too. He began to show her similar affection he showered on her other friends.

At a time, Ngozi and her friend, Ifeoma, who were very good friends, had a clash. But nobody knew the cause of the strife. Nevertheless, they both continued to be in the good book of the corper. The corper finished his service and left few weeks before they commence their exams, but not before sowing his wild oat in their bellies. This happened last year. Another girl, a third victim was later discovered.

Due to shame, Ngozi was unable to write her exams, because her belly was protruding. What happened to the corper? Don’t ask me, because remembering the episode gets me annoyed.

Why am I writing about this? NYSC camp will soon be thrown open and another cycle of sexual shenanigan will start again. And another set of dreadful corpers would go about dipping their rods in every available hole. Let’s hope some gullible minors will not be their victims this time around..

Celebrated filmmaker Celso Ad Castillo launches tell-all autobiography

-->
Celso Ad. Castillo was once regarded as “the enfant terrible of the Philippine cinema” on one end of the spectrum but also labeled as “The Messiah” on the other. No less than colleague Peque Gallaga once hailed him and the late Lino Brocka as “the greatest Filipino filmmakers this generation has produced”.

In a career spanning more than five decades, the enigmatic filmmaker has created some of the greatest and most unforgettable films in Philippine cinema.

Covering genres as varied as action, horror, drama, comedy, fantasy and even soft porn, he has brought us classics like “Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop Sa Balat Ng Lupa”, “Asedillo”, “Patayin Mo Sa Sindak Si Barbara”, “Nympha”, “Pagputi Ng Uwak…Pag-itim ng Tagak”, “Paradise Inn”, “Virgin People” and “Burlesk Queen”, among many others.

But as great as the plotlines of those films have been, Direk Celso’s greatest story may be his very own. This week, the director will launch “Celso Ad Castillo: An Autobiography and His Craft”, a book he himself describes as “a journey of an artist”.

“Actually, it’s more than just a journey, it’s an adventure. It’s a trek into an eerie man’s mind in the real world and in the insanity of a make believe one. Are you ready for that?” Castillo said as a challenge to readers in an interview with InterAksyon.

More than the average film buff, Castillo’s book seems to be intended for those who want to pursue a career in the film industry, particularly in filmmaking.

“I taught screenplay writing and film directing at the Asia Pacific Film Institute for a year and I was telling my students that to study filmmaking, they should study the director. They should know how a director’s mind works because moviemaking is problem solving like jigsaw puzzle or Kubrick’s cube,” he pointed out. There are theories you learn from school but to come up with a viable film project like the quality of film being cinematic is where the director’s mind should work on its own.”

The mercurial and often controversial director then gave a glimpse of some of the juicier stuff that fans of his films can expect from what also seems like a tell-all book—his mostly adversarial relationship with most of his film’s stars.

“How does a director deal with a Fernando Poe, Jr. in the making of an epic film like ‘Asedillo’? How does he cope up the travails of filmmaking, with Vilma Santos missing on the set and Bembol Roco shaving his head at the height of shooting ‘Pagputi ng Uwak’? How do you solve a problem like Vilma Santos who offered to return the money she had received for refusal [sic] to do the dance sequence in ‘Burlesk Queen’?”

Next:’A director and his film must become one.’

In revealing some of the behind the scenes stuff that most people never knew about, Castillo underscores the need for the director to be “on top of this business.”

“How does a total novato enter a tough business like the movie business and reach the top of the line? A director and his film must become one so that there will be total unison in pursuing the dramatic conclusion of a film masterpiece,” he stressed.

One of 12 veteran filmmakers to receive a production grant from the Film Development Council of the Philippines for its Sineng Pambansa: Master Directors Edition scheduled for 2013, the multi-awarded director continues to make at least one film a year, his last being the made-for-TV movie “Medical Center”, starring Denise Laurel, Ara Mina, Zoren Legaspi and Ryan Eigenmann.

He also dabbles in acting and was last seen in the 2011 teleseryes “Reputasyon” for ABS-CBN and “Babaeng Hampaslupa” for TV5.

Director Celso Ad. Castillo, 69, dies of heart attack

-->
Director Celso Ad. Castillo died of heart attack early Monday morning in his hometown of Siniloan, Laguna, where he was born 69 years ago. He was brought to Pakil General Hospital at around 3AM where he was declared dead on arrival.

The news was confirmed by his brother John.

The son of a lawyer and writer, Atty. Dominador Castillo, and his wife Marta Adolfo, Castillo graduated from the Manuel L. Quezon University in 1964 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature.

Castillo started as a komiks writer. With his father’s help, he published his own magazine where he wrote all the stories, using different pen names. A movie producer then asked him to write a James Bond parody movie, which was followed by a sequel.

Two years after his college graduation, he wrote and directed his first movie, “Misyong Mapanganib”. His first significant film came in 1971 — “Asedillo”, starring Fernando Poe, Jr. as a 1920s bandit anted by the American colonial government.

Once considered “the enfant terrible of Philippine cinema”, Castillo went on to release 64 films, with at least two unfinished ones and his first digital film “Bahay ng Lagim” currently in post-production.

Colleague Peque Gallaga and the late Lino Brocka once hailed him as “the greatest Filipino filmmaker this generation has produced”.

The enigmatic director, writer, and actor created some of the greatest and most unforgettable films in Philippine cinema in a career spanning more than five decades.

Covering genres as varied as action, horror, drama, comedy, fantasy and even soft porn, he made the classics “Ang Pinakamagandang Hayop Sa Balat Ng Lupa”, “Asedillo”, “Patayin Mo Sa Sindak Si Barbara”, “Nympha”, “Pagputi Ng Uwak, Pag-itim ng Tagak”, “Paradise Inn”, “Virgin People” and “Burlesk Queen”.

His last known finished work was the made-for-TV movie “Medical Center”, starring Denise Laurel, Ara Mina, Zoren Legaspi and Ryan Eigenmann.

Castillo’s death came at a time of renewed activity for the director once known for a prolific output. He was about to launch his fifth book “Celso Ad Castillo: An Autobiography and His Craft” which he described in a November 17 interview with InterAksyon — possibly his last media interview — as a “a journey of an artist”.

“Actually, it’s more than just a journey, it’s an adventure. It’s a trek into an eerie man’s mind in the real world and in the insanity of a make believe one. Are you ready for that?” Castillo said as a challenge to readers in a recent interview with InterAksyon.

“How does a total novato enter a tough business like the movie business and reach the top of the line? A director and his film must become one so that there will be total unison in pursuing the dramatic conclusion of a film masterpiece,” he declared.

The autobiography also contains colorful details of some key events in his life, such as the year he coverted to the Muslim faith and was renamed Arif Amiruddin bin Abdullah.

A documentary on Castillo’s life and career by filmmaker Gorio Vicuna is scheduled to be launched soon.

Castillo was one of 12 veteran filmmakers recently chosen by the Film Development Council of the Philippines to take part in its Sineng Pambansa: Master Directors Film Festival scheduled for 2013.

As an actor, he was last seen in the 2011 TV dramas “Reputasyon” on ABS-CBN and “Babaeng Hampaslupa” on TV5..

Supermodel Ojy Okpe! Proudly Naija!

-->
Nigerian beauty Ojy Okpe wears many hats; she is a model, actress, philanthropist and producer.

Ojy, one of six children was born on Nigeria's East Coast to diplomatic parents. As a result she spent much of her childhood travelling her home country.
South African model scout Jan Malan discovered her and entered her into the continental modelling competition, where Ojy gave a good showing and ended up as one of the finalists. She won a contract from Storm Model Management, which precipitated a move to South Africa. In South Africa, she was featured in several top publications, including Cosmopolitan, Drum, Elle and Ture Love.

Her modelling work in South Africa led to opportunities in New York, where she promptly became the face (and body) of swimwear brand Gottex. According to her website, while she was in New York she did trunk shows for top designers, including: Dolce & Gabbana, Ralph Lauren, Versace, Oscar de la Renta, Jean Paul Gaultier and Moschino. She is represented by Next Models Los Angeles, OmodelAfrica and Ikon Model Management. Not content to rest on her laurels, Ojy got a degree in Communications and Film Production from St John’s University while she was in New York. She also featured in top Hollywood blockbusters The Devil Wears Prada, Spiderman 3, and Confessions of a Shopaholic. Judging from her tweets, Ojy is also a fan of the film industry back here in Nigeria.

Her love of film inspired her to start a production company, called Third Mainland Productions. According to the website for the company, 'Ojy wrote, directed and edited three student films, and she is currently producing a documentary about the Niger Delta crisis'. Earlier this year she was seen at the Cannes Film Festival hanging out with talented Nigerian actor and director Kunle Afolayan.

The Nigerian beauty is also a philanthropist; she has a charitable foundation called the Ojy Okpe Foundation. The primary aim of the organisation is to help underprivileged and sick children. Ojy works with the Salvation Army and the Red Cross to help raise awareness about the serious issues faced by children in Nigeria and the rest of the continent.

Beyoncé Snuggles Up With Daughter Blue Ivy

Did someone order a beautiful mother-daughter moment captured on camera? Here you go.
The world may not get as many glimpses ofBlue Ivy Carter as they'd like, but Beyoncéwas sweet enough to share an intimate photo of her and her baby girl over the weekend on her Tumblr.
Both matching in blue outfits (how appropriate), Bey, who was sporting a braided 'do, was caught giving her sweet daughter a big, loving smooch on the head.
Of course, they couldn't leave dad out of the family love.
Beyoncé also posted a precious black and white photo of Jay-Z holding baby Blue while walking down a shaded path.
This time, the little girl's actually looking our way! Unfortunately, the shading makes it close to impossible to see her face.
Sneaky, sneaky.

OGE OKOYE GOES GAGA OVER SEX QUESTION!How I make love?

 By JAMES EMMANUEL
jamescode2000@yahoo.co.in

When success stories are written in the annals of Nollywood, Oge Okoye’s name cannot be overlooked. Gorgeous and gifted, Okoye, who hugged the klieg light in 2001 with the movies, “Caesar to Caesar” and “Spanner”, not only conquered Nollywood, she captivated and wowed her fans with blistering and daring acting, so much that her memory continues to linger in the minds of movie buffs. Today, after two kids, the star of numerous blockbusters remains evergreen. She is not only relevant in the industry after about 11 years, but has also broadened her horizon to become multifaceted and a sought-after diva.

In this encounter, the soft spoken entertainer went gaga and revealed her other side when asked an innocent question about her sexual appetite.

“What kind of question are you asking me?...How I make love…that is my personal life and I think personal things should remain personal,” she fumes.

Okoye who was recently honoured with a Doctorate degree by Wisconsin International University, USA, further bared her mind on other germane issues and sketched a broad outline of her real self. We present the riveting interview, raw and uncut.

What has kept you so busy in recent times?
I’ve been working on my personal project. It’s about my foundation which is christened Positive Life for Children (PLC). The foundation’s major objective is to enhance educational quality for the less privileged children and children with special needs. I found out that most people that really want to give back to the society always focus on motherless babies homes; they tend to neglect the other set of deprived people, especially children with special needs- those suffering from different kinds of ailments like Down Syndrome, among others.

This set of people also need our love and hands of fellowship.  And they can only get this love when we all come together, create out time to be with them, dance and have fun with them. In the aspect of the less privileged ones in public schools, in as much as some of these students might come from a state where free education is in vogue, what about other school related issues like textbooks, uniforms, sandals, school bags, and all that?  They also want to be like other kids but their parents don’t have the wherewithal to provide all these for them.

So by the special grace of God, my foundation is going to lend a hand of assistance to this set of people by providing them with basic school needs.   It’s all about making them live a positive life. We will also be involved in seminars and other initiatives where these young ones can be assembled and taught a whole lot of things, impacting them positively.

When exactly is the foundation taking off?
By the special grace of God, I intend launching it before the end of this year or early next year.

You have already made a name in the industry; why did you wait this long before thinking of giving back to the society?
There is always a time for everything in life. Though before now, I have been doing little things like going to public schools like the ones in Makoko, Ajegunle and other areas to give back to the society in my own little way. It’s just that I want to carry it out in a more elaborate way so that others in so many other places would also benefit.

You recently featured in a Hollywood movie, how was the experience like?
Honestly, I must confess it was spectacular. As a matter of fact I was shooting in Owerri when I got a call for the movie. I asked the producer when they wanted to shoot it and I was told it was the next week, I told them it wasn’t possible. I was like ‘how can you be calling me for a Hollywood movie without any time for preparation’. I later accepted it. The movie, Turning Point, was just God’s plan for me. It happened just like that. Initially, I was so nervous; in as much as acting is something we do all the time, but going to act in Hollywood was quite something else-trying to socialize with some other great filmmakers I had only seem on the screen. But I muzzled the courage, and behold, it was a wonderful production.  We also had Jackie Appiah and other Americans in the movie.

Before then, were you dreaming of going as far as Hollywood?
Really, everybody wants to step up his or her game, even without knowing how to go about actualizing it. The feeling would always be there; everybody wants to diversify and get to another level, and that was actually the case with me. I had been dreaming of going to Hollywood and acting alongside their great actors and actresses. But to the best of my knowledge, what I did in that Hollywood movie-Turning Point- was just a starting point. I’ve not gotten to where I want to be. My best is yet to come.

Having experienced both industry-Hollywood and Nollywood-let’s compare and contrast the two.
Really I must confess that there is no much difference. The only difference I see is in the aspect of technology, which I believe they are far ahead of us. They work with already worked out set; they build their set based on the script. Most of what you see in their movies, like oceans, and so many other wonderful scenes are built; they could build an ocean in a studio.  That is why I said they are ahead of us, but I know we will also get there soon.

You’ve remained evergreen since you hugged the klieg lights; what has been the source of this success?
I think it’s God that has brought me this far. The fact that I’ve fans looking up to me is another thing that has been propelling me to work harder. The motivation I get from the family cannot be overlooked; being the only child of my parents, my mum is always there to encourage me. Again, the impact of my husband and my two little kids combine to make me who I am today. Though it has not been easy, but God has been faithful.

Let’s talk about how this journey started.
I had always wanted to act so I went for audition. My mother would always say that since I was young, I was always saying I wanted to be a super star someday, that I used to walk up and down the house doing fashion parade as a child. She thought I was going to be a model, not an actress. I love everything about drama; I was involved in drama back in the church. At first I was reading Accountancy in Enugu State University of Technology. I did that for a whole year and I was like, God in heaven, you know this is not me.

That was how I persuaded my parents and I left for Nnamdi Azikiwe University where I studied Theatre Arts. I started going for auditions here and there. As God would have it, I got a minor role in a movie entitled Caesar to Caesar, which was in 2001. My performance in that movie got me another movie role in Spanner, where I starred alongside Nkem Owoh and Chinedu Ikedieze. Initially I was nervous acting with Nkem Owoh, and it ended up as a memorable experience. After that, I had a lead role in Sister Mary, and that was how it continued.

What quality of yours was responsible for your first movie role?
I don’t know what the producers saw, but I know I was ambitious.

As a mother of two kids, how do you cope with your career?
It’s really hard, but it takes a whole lot of hard work and a lot of sincerity. You go extra mile, you want to stay with them more even though you want to be at work and all that so you are like caught in the middle. But one thing I just don’t do is I don’t let anyone suffer; my job, my career, my family. I try to create a balance. As much as the job is important, the home front is of foremost importance to me. I blend the two perfectly, such that none of it suffers for the other. I have been coping well.

So when and how did you meet your husband?
It was really not love at first sight, I personally don’t believe in love at first sight. I believe in working it out, knowing ourselves, to see if we are compatible, so that is what exactly happened between me and my husband. We were friends at first and it was going on like that till we got married in 2005.

How does he feel about the romantic scenes you play in movies?
He has never complained. I really don’t know if he feels bad, but I know that being a human being like I am, he might be feeling bad inside but he is not showing it. He encourages me a lot; he is always there for me. Besides, he doesn’t watch my movies.

At a point your marriage was widely reported to have hit the rocks; surprisingly, you didn’t come out to clear the rumour, what actually happened then?
I don’t have business responding to such falsehoods. I don’t know the people peddling such rumours and I have no business with it.

So are you saying the marriage is still intact?
What do you mean? Is like you have another mission! Why won’t my marriage be intact? Please nothing has happened to my marriage. I really don’t know why people would be interested in breaking our marriages; nothing like that exists. It amazes me the way people go about talking about a marriage break up that does not exist. I’m happily married and I don’t want to discuss my personal life.

Since he is not living with you here in Nigeria, how do you cope with the numerous male admires?
Of course everybody knows that I’m married; I wonder what anybody would still want from me.

So how do you relieve when you have feelings?
What kind of feelings are you talking about?

Sexual feelings, to be specific.
I think that is my personal life. What kind of questions are you asking me? I think you will soon ask me how I make love with my husband. Basically, that is my personal life and I think personal things should remain personal.

One should have expected that you attend an event with your husband whenever he is in Nigeria so as to clear the numerous rumours of broken marriage trailing your person, why don’t you usually do that?
I don’t think that is necessary.

So where is that lucky man from?
He is from Imo State and I am from Nnewi, in Anambra State.

What is one good thing that marriage has done to you?
I think it has made me more mature.

Your last born is about two years, how soon are we going to be celebrating the arrival of the third one?
I believe God’s time is the best.

But would there be anyone by this time next year?
Actually, we are not ready for any other one now. We are taking a little break from child bearing.

After two kids, you still look youthful and sexy; what is the secret behind this?
Really! Maybe because I’m slim naturally. Apart from that, I exercise a lot. I do all kinds of exercises from cycling to normal stretching. I think that is what has been helping me to stay in shape.

So many of your colleagues have drifted towards producing, why haven’t you followed this trend?
Just as I said earlier, God’s time is always the best. And one thing with me is that I’m one person that likes to take my time when I’m doing things. If I’m going to produce a movie, I shouldn’t do any half baked type of movie all in the name of wanting to produce my own movies. If I must produce, it must be something that will last long in the memory of movie lovers. All the same, I like what my colleagues are doing.

How far can you go to interpret a role, especially the ones involving nudity?

I do everything within my capacity to ensure that I perfectly interpret my roles. But one thing I cannot do is to go stark naked.  But I could do other sensual roles but for nudity, I wouldn’t. Our society abhors it.

So how does the inspiration come for your role interpretations?
Acting is something I’ve grown up to love and cherish. I will say it’s the grace of God that has over the years enabled me to interpret my roles. Besides, I believe acting is in me.

What do you do to enhance the inflow of the inspiration?
Am I supposed to do anything? What are mine supposed to do apart from just exhibiting the talent that is already in me? I don’t think I do anything.

What about such things as smoking, as some of your colleagues do?
Why should I smoke? Has anybody told you that I smoke? I don’t have to do that, I don’t do it and I don’t think I will ever indulge in that if that is what you are asking.

But some of your colleagues do; do you see anything wrong with it?
I think that is their personal business. I don’t have anything to say about that. I don’t interfere in someone else’s private life, as much as I don’t want anybody to interfere in mine.

Most of your colleagues are said to be into lesbianism, how have you been coping with their amoral advances?
I’ve never encountered one. I don’t want to doubt the existence of such but I’ve never encountered anyone. So I can’t be talking about what I don’t know about.

Generally, what is your view about the act?
You and I know is wrong; I don’t think it’s something anybody should be practicing.

If given the opportunity to erase anything in your past, what would you’ve erased?
I think the only the thing I would’ve loved to erase is the death of my father. It was such a bad experience that haunted me for years. He was such a lovely father anybody would pray to have. It’s been long, so I’ve tried to put it behind me.

What kind of man epitomizes your ideal man?
My ideal man should be hard working, must look good, and at same time have the fear of God

Are those things what attracted you to your husband?
I won’t talk about what attracted me to my husband. What attracted me to him is not something I would want to start talking about. It’s personal.

Since your marriage is still intact, what effort did you put in to sustain it till date?
It’s all about loving someone unconditionally, trusting the person and at the same time being tolerant. These are the ingredients of a lasting relationship, and I think they are part of what has sustained mine as well.

Are these ingredients lacking in the failed marriages recorded by your colleagues?
I don’t know what could have caused their failed marriages. It’s only the person that wears the shoe that knows where it pinches. It is their private lives; I don’t know what caused their breakups and I don’t think is something I would want to know. Just as I like keeping some things private, I also like allowing people their privacy.

Unlike your colleagues, you got married back in 2004; were you under pressure to marry since you are the only child of your parents?
It wasn’t because of that. I fell in love with a man and we ended up getting married. Nobody ever pressurized me into marriage.

How did you go about settling your rifts with your friends, Ini Edo and Chioma Toplis?
Who told you there was any rift? As far as I’m concerned I don’t have any rift with anybody.

Does that mean you’ve settled with them?
I don’t know what you are talking about, and please I don’t have an answer to that question.

If you had known all that you know today, what did you do in the past that you would you’ve done differently now?
I don’t really know what I would have done differently; I think I did everything I’ve done based on the prevailing circumstances. I don’t regret anything I did in the past. I know I must have made some mistakes, but I try not to remember them because I have already forged ahead. Whatever mistake I made in the past has been confined to history, I’m now looking ahead to what the future has got to offer.

What were these mistakes?
There you go again. I think that is my personal life, which I would want to remain personal.

Share with us what life has taught you over the years?
Frankly speaking, life has taught me to be independent, to never give up no matter what I’m facing, to always believe in myself, to work hard and always remain focused.  I’ve come to understand that everybody can be a better person, and everything anybody needs to succeed in life is in that person.

Most producers are currently lamenting on the evil effect of piracy; does the menace affect what you are currently paid for jobs?

It hasn’t. I feel that whatever I’m getting is what I’m supposed to get. But the menace is a very big challenge to the industry; you find out that before one’s film is released someone somewhere would have already released a pirated copy, it’s painful. I believe there will be a change if the government finally puts an end to it; it’s something that must be collectively fought against.

NAETO C REACTS TO FRAUD ALLEGATIONS...THREATENS TO SUE!

-->
Naeto C reacts to fraud allegation – demands apology: ‘No contract signed, was in Abuja!’

We reported here earlier on =10KNews that an Abuja-based show promoter accused Naeto C of fraud. Naeto C has reacted and here’s a statement from the publicist of the rap artiste Naeto C, made available.

Read full statement below:

"With reference to the news making the rounds on entertainment blog portals and social media platforms about our client Naeto C defrauding a show promoter of certain amount of money, we would like to clear the air and set the records straight. For the purpose of clarity and details, we will enumerate all the facts of the affair below.

Naeto C actually made the trip to Abuja to fulfill his end of the agreement subject to receiving full payment for the said event which was supposed to be a day before or on the date of the engagement. When it became apparent on the day of the show that the promoters were not forthcoming with paying up the balance, our client declined to grace the show with his presence especially as he had held up his end of the bargain regardless of the show being 3 days to his wedding.

Most significantly, the signature on the agreement document is not that of our client and this act of forgery is not only distasteful, but criminal. At this junction, it should be stated for the benefit of those that are new to the entertainment business that ‘a show promoter is liable to forfeit any money deposited to book an artiste for a particular date if the promoter fails to complete payment before the stipulated time for the performance and the artiste is permitted to walk away from the arrangement’.

This is standard practice in entertainment all over the world because artiste will decline all other approaches by prospective clients once a party makes a commitment by way of an initial deposit. Now that we have established the ground facts, let us further clarify the following claims that were made:

At no point did the said promoter have a direct conversation with our client regarding the subject. All forms of communication in the build up to the agreement were carried out via a third party, a certain 'DJ Fresh', for whom our client was willing to perform as a favor. The sum deposited is a fraction of the total amount which was agreed upon and stated in the agreement document as payment for his services.

Naeto C as a brand is of the premium stock. His life is well documented in the public’s eye from his family background to his upbringing, educational background, and his career as a musical artiste. He has been able to conduct himself and his business in a decent manner thereby making his brand appealing enough for brands and establishments to leverage their products upon. His integrity has never been questioned in any sphere of existence for any reason whatsoever.

Also, every established show promoter knows it costs considerably more than the figure in question to book Naeto C for a performance.

In summary: It is true that our client Naeto C was approached to perform at a show which was to be held in Abuja on July 18 2012. It is also true that he accepted an initial sum as deposit payment to indicate the promoter’s commitment to employing his services on the date agreed upon.

No contract was signed by Naeto C, however it was expected that the promoter was to pay the balance on or before the day of the show as agreed with the aforementioned third party – DJ Fresh.

The promoter however defaulted on the payment of the balance from the amount agreed upon during negotiations.

That said, we will explore all options made available to us within legal bounds of the constitution of Nigeria, including suing for fraudulent practices (forgery of signature) and defamation of character if we deem it fit, if these false claims and accusations are not retracted and a letter of apology issued".
