It would appear as though Donald Trump has five million new reasons to smile. A former contestant in the Miss USA pageant, Sheena Monnin, 26, has been ordered to pay the organization, which Trump owns, $5 million after claiming that the contest was rigged.
The former Miss Pennsylvania contestant (pictured below) was found to have been “disgruntled” after having failed to make the pageant’s preliminary rounds, an arbitrator has found, in addition to being upset about Miss USA’s decision to allow transgender contestants.
In June 2012, the beauty-queen-hopeful quit the pageant, posting on her Facebook wall that she “can no longer be affiliated in any way with an organization I consider to be fraudulent, lacking in morals, inconsistent, and in many ways trashy,” adding that another pageant contestant “saw a list of the Top 5 BEFORE THE SHOW EVER STARTED.” Monnin has been found guilty of defamation.

Trump claims that had Monnin apologized, the outcome could have been much more different.
