His father shot to fame after teaming up with DJ
Jazzy Jeff.
And it seems Will Smith's son Trey is keen to
follow in the footsteps of the hip-hop favourite after manning the decks at a
show in Miami, Florida on Friday. His famous parent, his stepmother Jada Pinkett
Smith and his half-siblings all turned out to watch the 20-year-old spin the
disks in front of a packed nightclub audience.
Family affair: Will Smith and his brood turned out to watch his son Trey
play a DJ Set in Miami on Friday
Big Willie flashed a peace sign as he made his
way into the show, and looked excited to hear his son's latest musical stylings. Jada, 41, meanwhile looked like she was worried
about their parking arrangements, as she was seen gesticulating wildly as they
waited in line.
The youngsters were keen to snatch some of the limelight for themselves however. Self-styled musical prodigy Willow, 12, was no doubt hoping to challenge her big brother to a DJ battle, and was dressed appropriately in a baggy beanie hat, a T-shirt covered in Chinese writing and skinny jeans.
Peace of the action: Will stuck two fingers up at fans as he walked into the
exclusive city nightspot
Big Willie: The A-list star looked as stylish as ever in an understated
combo of navy T-shirt, jeans and trainers
Did you fill the meter: Jada seemed to be making her point to a
disgruntled Willow as they made their way there
Smooth Jazz style: Trey will have no doubt picked up plenty of tips
from the legendary Jeff over the years
But it was 14-year-old Jaden who
really took the biscuit, showing off his pipe-cleaner arms in a
black vest, while really drawing stares with his skunk-like streaky
dyed hair. It is an exciting development on the
green and mohawk which he got at the end of last month, and while
the original do has faded somewhat, he has made it even more
ludicrous by adding two new strips at the ears to Jazz it up.
Returning to the music scene will
have been a welcome respite for movie star A-lister Will. He initially shot to fame as one
half of popular duo DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, with the
pair scoring top 20 hits in the 1980s and early 90s, and even
winning a Grammy for Parents Don't Understand. His on-stage personality also served
as the basis for smash sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a role he
took on to avoid bankruptcy.
Wait till I get you home: Perhaps Will was passing on some
words of discipline as he walked next to Willow
Stealing the show: Jaden made a bold attempt to snatch
the limelight with a wonderfully eccentric ensemble
Skunk works: The Karate Kid favourite was really
flying high after adopting this ridiculous yet
spellbinding haircut
Called for DailyMail
And the Will Family grooves... lol
