Beyonce is under some SCORCHING fire after speculation that she lipsynced her Star Spangled Banner performance at the presidentialinauguration, but at least she has Jennifer Lopez and LeAnn Rimes to help put out the flames!
J.Lo and LeAnn agree that President Barack Obama's BFF probably didn't have a choice!
The country singer took time away from throwing Brandi Glanvilleshade and told Jimmy Kimmel:
"I'm actually taking up for her on this one. There are times when people will ask you to do it, and they will not let you do it unless you do it because they want control over what happens."
For once, LeAnn is actually making sense!
"In certain venues and stuff, they do prerecord things, because you're going to have that terrible slapback. All performers do have to do it at some point."
If there would be any time our queen B (or anyone!) would have to get some pre-recorded help, a presidential, national performance would be it!
