Rihanna's epic 777 tour has finally come to an end after travelling across the world and performing to thousands of fans in New York, Berlin, London, Paris, Stockholm, Toronto and Mexico City. The Diamonds singer battled her way across the continents to promote her seventh album release in seven years and rounded the whole trip off by launching said album, Unapologetic, in New York.
However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for the Barbadian pop star. The 150 or so journalists and fans she took along with her for the ride had previously complained about not getting any time with Rihanna and that they were treated badly. Rihanna has since apologised for her lack of socialising with everyone on the plane.
'I barely slept,' she told US Weekly. 'My sleeping was all done on this plane... I had to preserve my health.
'Normally I'd be back there popping bottles with y'all... I had to preserve my voice. I was worried about my body more than partying on the plane, so I had to just sleep whenever I could.'

Rihanna covered up in lots of leather at the official launch of her album Unapologetic in New York, which marked the end of her whirlwind tour. Ri-Ri hugged a fan on stage at the album's launch. We can't decide if the singer looks more relieved to have a cuddle, or that her busy tour is finally over. Or that her album is finally unleashed on the world!
Despite the controversy surrounding Rihanna's 777 tour, the singer looked like she was having a great time as she took to the stage in London.
Earlier in the week the tour reportedly descended into chaos, as the journalists who are travelling with the star in her jet started to semi-jokingly protest against their treatment. What's more, Rihanna even faced airport fines and booing crowds - not exactly what the singer was hoping for!
Still, Rihanna put on a brave face as she performed in London. The singer looked like she was in the zone as she performed at the secret gig which was held at the HMV Forum in Kentish Town. Both fans and critics were impressed with Rihanna's performance.
Radio DJ Scott Mills tweeted: 'Went to see @rihanna tonight. Actually amazing. Confirmed best pop star in the world. Can't describe how good!'
The singer busted out a few of her best dance moves on stage.
Journalist Jill Munroe tweeted: 'Rihanna looks amazing and exhausted at the same damn time! Nobody can say she doesn't work hard.'
No wonder Rihanna looked tired - the singer's 777 tour involves her performing in seven different countries in seven days! Rihanna looked exhausted after her performance. After the gig, the singer hopped back on her plane to put on her final performance of the tour in New York.
Earlier in the week, Rihanna's 777 tour reportedly descended into chaos, with the star facing huge airport fines, booing crowds, and a plane full of unhappy, sleep-deprived journalists - one of whom ran around the cabin naked in protest.
The tour, which kicked off last Wednesday, sees Rihanna playing seven shows on seven consecutive nights in seven different cities to mark the release of her latest album, Unapologetic.
But it seems the Barbadian beauty is racking up a whole list of people to apologise to, not least the 150 journalists flying with her who have been staging only semi-joking protests at their treatment.
Fuse senior reporter Jason Newman has described 'jet lag, too little sleep, insufficient food... one too many middle-of-the-night flights... and frustration at lack of interaction with the singer' leading to journalists chanting, 'Just one quote!,' 'Save our jobs!' and 'I need a headline!', much to the annoyance of Rihanna's people.
Intriguingly, he quotes a Def Jam publicist saying: “Someday, before we die, I’ll tell you my version of the story”, and last night tweeted: 'So yeah, the #777tour plane staged a revolution against Rihanna on flight between Berlin and London'.
Rolling Stone writer Jeff Rosenthal said: '(Rihanna) had after-parties in Stockholm and Paris, both times showing up mere hours before wake-up call... The hotels are beautiful, but we’re only sleeping two or three hours in them - four, tops.”
Elsewhere, The Sun have reported that Rihanna is racking up astronomical airport fines for late take-offs.
The newspaper quotes a source as saying: 'Rihanna delays going on stage, which throws out the whole schedule. It’s a reaction to the fact that every second of her time is accounted for by organisers. She likes to be in control.'
They continued: “Her team have been making frantic calls throughout the night to the airports. Every hour that goes by she has to pay for flight clearance on runways and also incurs costs of the private airport teams, customs, baggage handlers and security. The tour will end up costing her a fortune.”

Rihanna's fondness for late starts hasn't been going down well at the gigs themselves either, with the NME reporting booing and heckling at last night's Berlin show after the star took the stage two and a half hours late.
Rihanna has been uncharacteristically quiet on Twitter since the tour began. Her only reference to the travelling party has been to retweet a fan called @KayKiSpeaks saying: 'I'm happy for every person (fan/media/friends/flight attendant) on that plane. I'm proud of Rih. This is some next level stuff. :)' Somehow, we don't think she'll be doing another promotional tour like this.
Poor Rihanna seems to have acquired some sort of itch. Thankfully, she's not the easily embarrassed type. Don't you just hate it when you get spinach stuck in your teeth? Rihanna's playing small club dates on this mini-tour, so you're never that far from the front. After the show, it was back on the plane for the next date in Toronto. Here's Rihanna after touching down in the Canadian city.
