Sister of Virtue tells the story of "a selfless sister (who) resorts to selling palm oil in order to fund the education of her younger brothers after the death of their parents. She is shocked and disappointed when they later repay her sacrifice by cruelly mocking and rejecting of the love of her life. The movie asks searching questions about the nature of family, sacrifice and love. It was directed by multi-AMAA award-winning director Dickson Iroegbu. Iroegbu is a controversial figure in Nollywood, as he is vocal about subjects he feels strongly about. He has directed more than 30 Nollywood titles since 2003.
