DID TONTO SAY THAT??? WHAT READERS SAID

Reacting to the report that Tonto Dike, had used derogatory words towards Genevieve in regards to her upcoming marriage and of Genevieve still not married at her age of which we post here, =10KNews= went out to the streets to sample people's  opinion over the publication and here are what the people said. Please readers discretion are advised as some of the persons interviewed here used strong languages and this post is completely uncensored.

 

 IYKE: Abeg live that thing jor. It’s all negative publicity. How can she say that? Dem deh quarrel before? She no talk am jare!

FEMI: I don’t think someone of her status will come out publicly to say such thing. I think people are trying to use that to create an apple of discord between the two ladies. I feel so sorry for Tonto because no matter how she tries to distance herself from that story, Genevieve will always have that little doubt that Tonto said that. And that little doubt can go a long way to ruin friendship built over time you know.

AGNES: Tonto is vulgar, you know! That mother fucker bitch! And she would not have known when the words dropped out of her mouth and you know that such harsh statement will attract any journalist to run to the print. But then, she has said that she did not say it…period. Except she is a coward and that her endowment most of the times anyway, there is no need shying away from what you said. 

But, if you ask me o, I will say she talks too much and some wrong words may have dropped out of her mouth playfully which the journalist who wrote the story just put two and two together to pour this venom on Genevieve. I do feel bad you know what both ladies might be passing through right now over such negative publication if it all turns out not to be true. But everybody knows Tonto is a bitch in capital letters...No questions about that.

JUDE: I don’t believe she said that. That is purely the handiwork of mischief makers. How can she say that? Is she mad or is she God? Were they quarrelling before? Haba. What a derogatory story.  If I were Genevieve, I will not fall for that crap over Tonto. She did not say that. She should have known the consequences. So, she didn’t say that.

BIOLA: Well, that girl has been constantly on the news recently and one begins to wonder what the things she actually said were and the ones she didn’t. We read about the one she said, Don Jazzy dis-virgined her; only for the story to be debunked the next day as untrue. So maybe the poor girl was just making jokes with some of these things said and then people and the journalist will blow it out of proportion. But make Genevieve sef do go marry. 

Wetin happen! Are there no good Nigerian men out there to marry? If Tonto have said that, then so what? Is it wrong? I was a little girl when I started watching Genevieve on tv. Now I am married with two children and she is still there single. Find one guy grab na!  Na all of them want chop your money? Dbanj came, no show, so did others too. Let her just get a guy abeg. She is pretty, she is wealthy and she is educated. What more?

MARY: What is my business over what Tonto Dike said? Na today she done deh talk? She can say anything. She likes talking.  But that is show business for you. You have to find a way to keep your relevance. That is her own stunt and way of keeping relevance. She has been on the news most recently over one talk or another. I will just say, let people let her be. Sometimes people talk that much out of frustrations to get noticed or over the things they fear most. So to me, let them let her be. And Genevieve too should try and find one good Nigerian man to marry...She is fully of age and her daughter is a big girl now. Or is she waiting for daughter to get married before her?

MIKE: Hahaha. That is girls talk Na. Maybe the excitement of the prospect of getting married in getting her high. Hahaha, But I don’t think she said that sha. No, she would not have said that...Even if she had said that, she didn’t mention names. No, she would not have called Genevieve Nnaji...No not true. Why will she call her into it? Dem get biff?

NNEKA: Everybody knows Tonto Dike has always hated Genevieve for her superiority in the industry. So, I guess she can no longer curtail her envies. Tufia kwa! onye ilo onye ojor!

MARTINS: Why are you asking me such nonsense question? I don’t discuss women issues. So  now women will do the fighting and we the men will do the gossiping? Please get out of my face.

EGO: That bitch? She can say anything and deny it flat…full actress to the core. She is a devil and she is so good at sowing discord here and there. She wants everything in the papers, so she could maintain relevance. Is it that their useless Nollywood marriage, where one is married and is still sleeping around? Let’s see if her own will last more than one week than others. Stupid girl. No manners.

AUSTIN: Na publicity stunt jare. Those cheap publicity seeking half-baked journalists. They are idiots. I think it is an indirect way of telling us that Genevieve has found a man and will be getting married. Tonto is indirectly blowing the secret out for Genevieve. If you are wise, you will know this is a publicity stunt for Genevieve, not Tonto. So, I will keep my eyes opened and ears to the ground. Genevieve is using Tonto to push the news forward to us. So I will rather not debunk the story but rather say congratulations in advance to Genevieve. I hope the new guy is a Nigerian.

KEMI: If you ask me, I will say, you people were the ones that actually said that and wrote about it and put the poor girls names on it. It’s degrading these days what we see you write which turns out to be jargon and false all because you want to sell your papers. It’s so unfair. These are persons with private lives. Common!

These are some of the persons as interviewed. So the question on the lips remains did Tonto Dike said that about Genevieve or did she actually granted that interview? Whatever you decide, she has come out to say she didn't and we at =10KNews= are standing and taking sides with her on this that she didn't say that.
